Almerima Jamakovic was born in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. She obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Electrical Engineering at Breda Institute of Technology, the Netherlands, in the year 2001. Subsequently, she obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Electrical Engineering at Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands, in the year 2004. After finishing her study she joined the Network Architectures and Services (NAS) Group to work towards a Ph.D. degree, which she obtained in 2008. During her PhD studies she performed research in the field of complex networks, focusing on the robustness of such ”real-world” structures.
She is currently working at TNO Information and Communication Technology, the Netherlands institute for applied research in Information and Communication Technology.Conference and Journal Publications:
